Education at St. Mary’s is rooted in a 400-year tradition, begun by Venerable Mary Ward (1685-1745), the founder of the Congregation of Jesus (CJ). Her Passion and Commitment to educate women, “to be seekers of truth and doers of justice”, was fired by her belief in the God of Love. This belief in God who creates each person with endless potential and equal rights to participate fully in our world, lies at the heart of CJ Education. In the spirit of our Foundress Mary Ward, St. Mary’s Convent School strives to offer an Education which liberates, empowers and motivates students to use their individual gifts with confidence, creativity and generosity in loving and responsible service.

I believe in upholding a high standard with an absolute commitment to promote holistic and globally relevant Education to the young citizens of India. At St. Mary’s the talents and abilities of each student is identified, nurtured and encouraged so that he/she is able to reach greater heights.

The motto of St. Mary’s, “Education for Knowledge and Service” is deeply embedded in the hearts of our students as they move ahead in their journey of life, to become a responsible global citizen.
